Area Field Director, Trump Country 2020

Special guest: Rep. Dan Bishop (NC-9)

Dan Bishop was born and raised in the 9th district – the youngest of five – and his family has lived in this region for generations.

An attorney, Dan spent most of his career in the private sector. He ran for the state legislature in 2014, and in just his third term he’s become one of the most effective and conservative lawmakers in North Carolina. Dan led the fight to put the Voter ID Constitutional Amendment on the ballot last November and has been A rated by the NRA for protecting our second amendment rights.

He is running for re-election in November.

Honored speaker: Clarence Henderson

In 1960, on the second day of the Greensboro (NC) sit-in, Joseph A. McNeil and Franklin E. McCain are joined by William Smith and Clarence Henderson at a Woolworth lunch counter. Clarence Henderson was in the forefront of the civil rights battle as he bravely stepped up to participate in the sit-in.

Today, as President of the Frederick Douglass Foundation of North Carolina, Mr. Henderson is a champion for freedom and conservative values.
